My second life in secondlife has just begun.

Lots of us have changed, a lot. Dreams will go on. I am sure about it.

This is my current look. It is not sweet at all. People were scared when they saw my face the first time. I look evil. I don’t think this is a bad thing, I would like to have an evil experience

Nothing is real, me either. Hooqiqi is a surrealistic avatar, lives in a surrealistic world. We should remember this. Don’t try to break it.

The virtual life is advancing just like real life. We don’t need to know where the final destination is. All we should do is to enjoy those touching moments.

The new plan for QiQi Studio is making a music video. I selected a song, a soundtrack from a Japanese film called “All about Lili Chou-Chou”.

secondlife film in 48 Hours Film Project

I knew there is a film festival in U.K. called “Warwick Shootout Extreme Film Festival”. It asked the competitors to make a 4-minute film in just 24 hours, including  campus people, places and objects from a brief, only revealed one hour before filming. It is a competition mainly for those who wants to be a professional film maker.

Now I notice that there is a US film project called ’48 Hours’. You can join them if you are able to make a film within your weekend. This project is open for anybody.

Every year the project is carried out in many places, in America, Asia, Europe etc. On the tour 2008 list of the cities, one is very special, * Virtual: Second Life*!

The winners of this year has been annouced, you can see their films on 48.tv. I have seen some of them on sl’s showcase. I am not sure how they know those films are truely created in 48 hours, but some of them are really brilliant!

It is a big challenge to make a good film in such short time. Do you have a very seamless team?

Angry QiQi

hoo77 Vita, my sl avatar, was terminated by linden. Without an understandable reason. They even didn’t allow me to explain it!

I was thinking about leaving SL. Am I really addicted in it? The qusetion is still confusing me. I know it is difficult for me to quit it right now. We just started a new plan in sl.

Fortunately, they can terminate my avatar, but they can not take away my friends. My dear buddies, you are the most invaluable treasure I got there!

As it says in the sutra, nothing is real or permanent, all you have only exits virtually. Maybe this is what my virtual life tries to remind me. If I could understand it, nothing to worry about.

Anyway, I have to say goodbye to hoo77 Vita. She has lived less than one year but it was colorful. I believe we all are going to miss her…

劳动模范Bing

Bing and Panda’s accounts were disabled too, after a couple of days hoo77 was banned. They are still waiting for the ’final adjudgment’. Bing really missed his dirty skin, instead of his huge money, lol! And he seems not be leaving sl ever. He made a certificate of merit to himself, it’s really cool! Check it out! I want one too!

At the very beginning

This is QiQi Studio’s first English blog, hehe, welcome, guys!

I am learning English in SL.  It is a good practice to write blog in English. Our Mr. Giovanni must be smiling when he sees this. I may make many strange or foolish mistakes here.  Please correct me if you see them, I appreciate it :)

QiQi Studio （beta）

QiQi studio is a studio for making machinma in virtual worlds. Some fantasy worlds such as secondlife and hipihi, are wonderful spaces to make fun films.  Here are my three short films I made before, which I would like to show you here. Actually,  none of them could be called a real film.  Those short ‘films’ I made are just experiments. Yes,  I got some good experiences from them. And I were really enjoying the work. They are great memories for me

Lost and Found

Chinese islab in secondlife

 I get many ideas in my mind every second.  Sometimes they make me very excited,  but I didn’t push it on.  They came into my mind,  stayed for a while,  then disappeared.  It is not the right time yet,  I always tell myself like this.  Maybe it is an excuse.  Yes, it is, haha!

There is a  very exiting thing coming, I will have my new pc! So I could shoot high quality films in virtual worlds! Cannot wait for it!

 In the coming days,  I am gonna make a film telling a full story.  Sure,  it must be a very short story, lol. 

I hope more friends can join us. It will be lots of fun!
